Join Mrs.Tri-Lakes and Ray of Hope for a brand new event, Hope Blooms, at the Denver Botanic Gardens happening Saturday, April 26th!
This springtime experience will provide exclusive access to the annual tulip display, a scavenger hunt through the gardens, live symphony music, a silent auction, and the opportunity to create your own flower bouquet to take home!
Guests will also enjoy a breakfast & lunch buffet with an open mimosa & Bloody Mary bar, while hearing inspiring stories from our patient navigators about the impact of their support.

Celebrate Her Fashion Show and Women's Showcase
The Celebrate Her Fashion Show and Women’s showcase is scheduled for Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at The Antlers, A Wyndham Hotel, located at 4 South Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80903
The American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Ball is a fundraising event that supports the AHA's mission to reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke; and to improve access to healthy food and healthcare. My WHY? Because my older sister, Kathleen suffered a stroke in 2010; and my best friend, Nancy unfortunately loss her first-born son to a congenital heart defect. The Heart Ball also funds critical heart research, and helps to greatly support under-resourced communities.

Eating Disorders Awareness Week (EDAW) is an annual campaign to educate the public about the realities of eating disorders and to provide hope and visibility to individuals and loved ones impacted by eating disorders . Eating Disorders Awareness Week 2025 is taking place Monday, February 24 - Sunday, March 2, 2025.
Eating disorders have the second-highest mortality rate (highest for anorexia nervosa) among mental health conditions, with one person dying from an eating disorder every 52 minutes, yet many are unaware of the barriers that can make it difficult to find recovery, including a lack of understanding about eating disorders and their impact.
This year's theme, "The Time is Now", aims to shift this perception - by highlighting the importance of sharing knowledge and resources, encouraging early detection and treatment, and supporting ongoing research.
Together, let's make this #EDAW a turning point for greater awareness, empathy, and support for impacted by eating disorders.
Join Mrs. Brighton and Mrs. Greenwood Village at Healing Hearts Benefit to support affordable mental health services in the north metro area. Pennock Center for Counseling is a non-profit organization that offers reduced and/or waived fees to those who can’t afford to get the mental health services they need. This event is their annual fundraising event to keep the doors open.
Saddle Up for an Evening in the Old West!
Mosey on down to the Waymire Dome, Riverdale Regional Park in Brighton, CO and join us for our 16th Annual Healing Hearts Benefit on Saturday, February 8, 2025! Come dressed in your finest (or most comfortable) Western attire. (Jeans are great!) The corral opens at 5:30 p.m. and the chuck wagon will start dishing up grub at 6 p.m. The cash bar saloon will be serving up spirits in the main hall. We will have an online silent auction and a live auction! Don't miss your chance to rustle up some treasures and support a great cause.
As some of you may know, our executive director, Jody Pierce, will be retiring in 2025. This will be her last official Healing Hearts Benefit. Please come out and share this special event with us and wish her happy trails before she rides off into the sunset. See you there!

This day marks the 12th year since the tragic Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting that took the precious lives of 20 (6 and 7-year-olds); and 4 adult staff members. The Sandy Hook Promise intent is to honor all victims of gun violence; including the random shooting/killing of my husband, Eric, turning these tragedies into a moment of transformation. Together we can help make our schools safer by raising awareness, and encouraging schools to roll-out the SAVE (Students Against Violence Everywhere) Promise Clubs. By empowering our youth to “know the signs”, and uniting all people who value the protection of children we can take meaningful actions in schools, homes and communities to prevent gun violence and stop the tragic loss of life.

Operation Gratitude:
When: collecting letters all month. I will also be working with schools in the area to collect coloring pages to send to troops.
Writing a letter is a simple and meaningful way for volunteers nationwide to say “Thank You” to all who serve. Your kind words could bring lasting joy to a Care Package recipient.
Operation Gratitude includes handwritten letters in every Care Package sent to our Deployed Troops, Recruit Graduates, Veterans, Wounded Heroes, and First Responders. In these unprecedented times, our heroes need our unwavering support. Taking the time to put pen to paper and share your heartfelt thoughts can be what motivates them to keep moving forward in their duties to our nation.
The Stocking Project is a community project (100% Donations & 100% Volunteers) which provides Christmas stockings to isolated adults (who often are all alone) living in our community. These adults include low income seniors and adults with disabilities who receive services from Jefferson Country Human Services in Colorado; Meals on Wheels & Senior Centers in Adams, Boulder, Denver, Larimer, and Weld Counties; and HIV patients through HIV Care Link.

November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month. On November 2nd @9am at City Park Mrs. Denver created TEAM ~ “Legacy of Love”; and will be raising funds; and participating in the Walk of Hope 5k Walk/Run for Pancreatic Cancer Research. I walk to honor my biggest cheerleader, my grandmother, “MiMi”, and everyone else that has loss a loved one, or currently battling pancreatic cancer.
