The Global Down Syndrome Foundation is looking for experienced, hardworking volunteers to help with the 2022 Be Beautiful Be Yourself Fashion Show that supports the amazing people with Down syndrome we serve! Volunteers must be 18 years or older for this event.
The Be Beautiful Be Yourself Fashion Show is the marquee fundraiser for the Global Down Syndrome Foundation and the largest fundraiser for people with Down syndrome in the world. This inspiring event supports life-changing and life-saving research and medical care.
Volunteers are needed Wednesday, November 9th through Sunday, November 13th to assist in the following areas:
Event Setup & TeardownGreetersMarketing, Print & SignagePR & MediaReceptionRegistrationSelf-Advocate PALsSilent & Live AuctionStaff AssistantsIn Office Support the Week of the Event
Self-advocate PALs must complete a background check. All volunteers will be required to attend one of the following volunteer training sessions prior to the event at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel:
Saturday, October 15th from 12:30PM - 2:00PMThursday, October 20th from 6:30PM - 8:00PM
