Mrs. Colorado®
Congratulations to Bethany Norman the newly crowned Mrs. Colorado® 2024. Bethany was crowned on April 6, 2024 at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House.
Hello! My name is Bethany Norman. It’s nice to meet you.
My journey to becoming Mrs. Colorado® 2024 began when our family moved back to Colorado in 2019.
Excited to connect with my community, I turned to the familiar world of pageantry; a place I’ve
navigated for over two decades, finding like-minded women and opportunities for personal and
professional growth.
The decision to enter the Mrs. Colorado® pageant felt intimidating, and initially, I feared I didn’t belong. Yet,
embracing challenges outside my comfort zone is my hallmark—I always strive for the best, not just
good enough. During my first pageant weekend, with no expectations other than to connect with other
contestants, I found myself placing in the top five! That experience ignited a belief in me that winning the title
of Mrs. Colorado® was possible.
While I never planned to compete repeatedly, but I did repeat 6x because pageant continually sparked
transformative experiences beyond the stage. These years saw me becoming a business owner,
overcoming my fear of public speaking, starting a podcast, writing for our local magazine, and founding
the nonprofit Leading with Legacy – The Heart Project, inspired by my mother who passed away from a
stroke at 50. The supportive community I built was the core reason I entered the pageant and a pivotal
part of why I returned each year. These accomplishments, away from the limelight, made my eventual
victory even more meaningful. It is my hope that my resilience and dedication serve as an inspiration for
you to investigate what competing for Mrs. Colorado® might ignite in you!
Today, as Mrs. Colorado®, I am thrilled to embark on a year filled with impactful endeavors and exciting
adventures. Alongside my beloved family—my steadfast source of support and joy—I am committed to
making a significant contribution to our state. I hope to make Colorado proud, not only as a titleholder
but as a wife, mother, and passionate community leader, celebrating the strength and spirit of our
beautiful state.
